MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His music has been able to make significant progress towards Latin pop. Una Lady Como Tu from 2016 received the Colombian Kids Choice Award as Favorite Song in 2017. in Medellin, Sony distributed La Industria Inc. and released ADN as his debut full-length album. The album climbed to number 8 within the Top Latin Albums Chart. Vaina Loca is one of the Top Five smash hit in 2010, featured him alongside Ozuna. He dropped Dopamina, his chart-topping sophomore album the year following. In 2021, he appeared in a duet with TINI on her most streamed single Maldita Foto. The singer appeared with him in 2023 for 2000, which featured the smash hit La Bachata. Turizo was born into a musical household both his parents are both musicians. In his interviews, he's described participating in music as compulsory. As a child he learned to play saxophone guitar the ukulele, and piano. The initial goal was to be a vet however, his brother Julian persuaded him to learn to sing with a Cuban instructor. What happened was that he discovered his own ability to sing and also altered the direction of his life.
