Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson was born in Mexico to a family of musicians. As a child, she was inspired by Boleros, classical music and the more traditional romantic, ranchero, and romantic ballads. Ana is passionate about opera and tangos, as well as any dramatic performance. Following her singing lessons with mom, she started more serious training in singing at 16, under the direction by renowned Mexican tenor FlavioBecerra. She continued her musical training in the School of Music of Guadalajara University, and then the School of Sacred Music, Toluca. In Guadalajara and Mexico City, she was part of a variety of chamber and opera choirs. When she moved to America in the year 2000, she joined the United States in 2000, she sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus before making the move to her current home in southern California. She's a frequent solo performer for private events and parties singing the traditional Latin American Music. As an active performer as well as an instructor, her love of arts and music keeps her active in a variety of projects. Ana was also a member of the Community Chorus of Redlands. The Inland Master Chorale. and the Performance Loft. Ana is privileged to have the opportunity to bring to others her passion for traditional Latin American music. She hopes this can inspire younger generations to keep the tradition alive.
